Really beautiful song that I enjoyed tremendously. Made me reflect about some stuff but that is a chapter that I would rather remain closed. 

Well, I can't believe the year 2011 has finally ended. A year of redemption, as I have so declared myself. But above all else, I guess last year was that of new found friendships, greater learning experiences and ever more pertinent life lessons. Honestly, after having been through the whole works of last year, I definitely wouldn't want to have gone through 2011 in any other way. Then again I guess that might not be entirely true, considering how if I hadn't had to retake A levels, things might be really different now. I guess my point is that what I initially had assumed to be a year of waste has turned out very much for the better (: 

I want to stop thinking about how 2011 has been, very simply because I want to leave the past behind. I believe that whatever has happened has moulded me into the person I am today, but regardless of how much I have learnt the bottom line is that it was nonetheless one of the most humbling and painful years ever. I guess that has got to be a pretty good reason to not want to keep thinking about it right? 

New year resolutions for 2012. Hmm, that's a tough one. Maybe I should categorize them properly haha. New year resoultions vs The things I want to do in 2012. 

But even before that, I just want to say I am so thankful for all the support my closest friends (Navreen, Yvonne, Shernice) have given me, helping me go through the insecurities not just from the presumed judgement that I would get from others, but also from the harsh manner I was criticizing myself and my lack of grades. I am really so so so thankful to have friends like them, feeling as if I can't be blessed enough (: 

1. Spend more time with my parents.

2. Be better than I was last year. 

3. Keep the lessons I have learnt last year, through my years in uni.

4. Remain positive.

Last night was nothing but perfect. Spending the first few hours of my new year under the vibrant spray of fireworks, with you, what more can I ask for (: (:

I know I haven't been blogging in ages, will try to do so soon. Need the inspiration to write. Imagine the sea waves lapping up against the shore, that's the way I want my words to flow.
