And so yesterday at 6.18 I found myself tumbling out of bed in absolute horror as I was confronted with the ghastly thought turned reality that I was late. Was supposed to wake at 5.30 so I could take my time to prepare. But alas, it was not to be. However, as soon as I texted manda lee, whom I was supposed to meet at 6.45, I realised there was nothing for me to be too worried about because she lazily replied 'don't worry, I'm still in bed.' Oh my goodness. Hahaha. But being me, I rushed through everything, sprung into the car, where mummy was going to send me to the station, for she was going to the airport to pick daddy up, and I ended up reaching on time. But not so luckily for me, Amanda Lee was extremely late and I had to wait for her for like HALF AN HOUR before we could set off which gave rise to Clarence texting me and being all high and mighty saying he had totally expected it. Hahahaha. Well, regardless of the incredibly long wait, Amanda and I had an amazing time catching up on the way there! Okay fine, we were a tad bit crazy which warranted a few stares, but then again, we are only going to see these people on the train once? Hahaha.

After 45 mins to an hour we finally reached promenade, to a rather patient Clarence who then announced that he had walked to the floating platform and back, walked through Marina Sqaure and back and still had time to cool down, which I am still trying to figure out if it is really true or if he was just trying to make us feel bad. But regardless, he was really pretty nice about it (: Hahaha.

Had to walk up this flight of stairs which was just quite crazy. Manda and I thought it was never going to end. Seriously some work out. Hahaha. But when we finally got out of that flight of stairs, the scenery that greeted us was really rewarding! The army boys looked so smart and cool in their formation blocs. It was really just pretty amazing.

Sometimes, I really do not know what goes on in this girl's head. Holding a shoe in her hands??? Seriously. Hahahaha.

So incredibly proud of these boys. Completing goodness knows how many weeks of BMT, 24 km march throughout the night, standing under the intense sun throughout the whole parade, marching in with so much gusto. Hats off to you guys. CONGRATS ON PASSING OUT ♥♥♥

Oh oh and this kinda embarrassing thing happened. Before we reached the flight of stairs there was this huge gang of army boys giving out water packs. Yeah so we were there and then just as we were collecting the bottle, this army dude who was looking at us just dropped the whole bag which kinda caused his friends to start teasing him, and it was so uncomfortable because I was standing right in front of him and I had to pretend I didn't know anything, take the bottle say thank you and walk away. Omgosh. Poor guy.
